Electrochemistry
Hyunkeun develops novel materials for FET-based biosensors, focusing on electrode engineering, interfacial chemistry, and material optimization to improve device sensitivity, stability, and reproducibility. He earned his M.S.E. in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, where he pursued research on healthcare monitoring systems integrating mammalian single-cell imaging and deep learning. At Northwestern University, he pursued doctoral research in Biomedical Engineering, developing microfluidic platforms for cancer diagnosis and therapy. By bridging healthcare monitoring, microfluidics, and bioelectronics, he now advances next-generation biosensor platforms at Kompass Diagnostics.
