Mingoo began his career in corporate research at LG, developing an advanced coating material from research to commercial manufacturing. He is an inventor of 11 patents. He was an investor at KB Investment, a venture capital firm with $2.5 billion assets under management, and Chief of Staff at RECO (Series C). He holds a BS in Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering and MSE in Environmental Engineering from Johns Hopkins University and an MBA from Stanford University.
