With a long-standing focus on the commercialization of FET-based diagnostics, he stands at the forefront of efforts to bring these technologies into healthcare as one of the first to achieve practical deployment. Through decades of dedicated research, he has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications with over 1,650 citations and an h-index of 19, underscoring both scientific impact and translational relevance. Dr. Jang earned his Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering at Johns Hopkins University and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago and Argonne National Laboratory, following earlier research scientist roles at KIST and KRIBB in South Korea.
